In the event of a loss, the insured is required to notify the Claims Department within 24 hours of the occurrence. A claim form should be obtained within seven (7) days from the date of the incident, duly completed, and submitted to the insurer within fourteen (14) days. The insured must also notify the police immediately and provide a copy of the police report.
Required Documents:
Duly completed claim form
Copy of the police abstract or report (where applicable)
Copy of the insurance policy or certificate
Proof of ownership or insurable interest
Photographs or evidence of the damage or loss
Any other supporting documents relevant to the claim
All claims should be accompanied by complete documentation to facilitate prompt assessment and settlement.
